Would you like to learn to Crochet or Knit ?

At The Crochet Lounge in Hamstel Road Southend on Sea  we offer lessons for both crochet and knitting including left handers, the lefties group is on a Thursday evening. 

The lessons are run by Corinne the owner of The Crochet Lounge, lessons are small very friendly groups and we have lots of fun ……

Lessons are 2 hours and the cost is £10 * per lesson plus the cost of any wool, hooks and needles required. 

Crochet and Knitting

Working with wool and yarn, knitting and crocheting has been a hobby for many people for a long time, in recent years it has become a very popular past time, being able to make beautiful things by knitting and crocheting them yourself is a wonderful skill to be able to have. At The Crochet Lounge we are passionate about all things Knitting and Crochet, so why not join in the fun.

Booking Lessons

We are now taking bookings for the next season of lessons and have slots available for both beginners and intermediary students.

The Crochet Lounge is a fine wool and yarn shop in Southend-on-Sea Essex. We are just outside Southend in the Southchurch area, so we are easy to reach if you are coming from Thorpe Bay and Shoebury, Hamstel Road is between Southchurch Road, the A13 so direct from Westcliff, Leigh on Sea and at the other end just off the A127 so we are easy to find if you are coming from Rochford, Hockley or further a field.

  1. Hi, just wondering if you might be able to help. Have found a tablecloth whilst clearing my mums house that is embroidered and has a crocheted edge which has frayed. This came from my grandmother in Australia. If I send you a photo would you be able to tell me if you can recognise or recreate the stitch/pattern as I don’t crochet?
